Adrian cuidó la casa de Pandora cuando ella y su familia se fueron de vacaciones. También regó las plantas y alimentó al gato. Pero Adrian también usó la casa para ver la televisión y estudiar para sus exámenes (la atmósfera de esa casa era mejor que la suya). También fue a casa de Bert Baxter para limpiar; Queenie regresaría a casa pronto.
Un día fue el cumpleaños de su madre, y Adrian la compró una tarjeta de felicitación. También recibió una de su novio (Adrian le llamaba Horrible Lucas) y otra del señor Mole. George Mole intentó hablar con Pauline, pero ella no quería. Adrian hablaba con él, y sentí que su padre no era feliz con su nueva familia.
Un profesor nuevo llegó al instituto; era el señor Lambert. Era muy amigable. Adrian quedó con él después de las clases y le contó su situación familiar. El profesor le dijo que debía separar sus problemas de los problemas de sus padres, y que debía ser fuerte. Ese encuentro le ayudó mucho.

Adrian guarded Pandora’s house whilst she and her family was out. He watered the plants and fed the cat. But he also used the house to watch the TV and study (the atmosphere of that house was better than yours). Adrian went to Baxter’s house to tidy up; Queenie would return home soon.
One day was his mother’s birthday; she was 38. Adrian bought her a card. She also received a cart from her new boyfriend (Adrian called him Horrible Lucas) and another one from Mr Mole. George Mole tried to talk with Pauline, but she didn’t want. Adrian talked with him, and he thought that his father wasn’t happy with his new family.
A new teacher came to the high school, he was Mr Lambert and he liked friendly. Adrian talked with him after the lessons about his problems at home. Mr Lambert said that he has to separate his problems from the problems of his parents and try to be strong. Adrian felt better after their appointment.
