Adrian se despertó con dolor de dientes. Pidió a sus padres que le llevaran al hospital, pero George Mole no quiso: Adrian no fue a las citas que tenía en el dentista y su dolor se debía a su culpa. Adrian prometió que iría a todas las revisiones del dentista pero cambió de idea cuando al día siguiente ya no le dolía. Pero cuando regresó el dolor, Adrian tuvo que ir al dentista y allí le sacaron un diente; ahora su sonrisa era horrible. Por ello, en clase sus compañeros se reían de él y Pandora estaba distante. Adrian woke up at night with toothache. He asked to his parents if they could take him to the hospital, but George Mole didn’t want: Adrian didn’t go to the dentist’s appointments and it was his fault. Adrian promised that he would go always to the dentist’s appointments, but he changed his idea when he felt better. But Adrian had to go to the dentist when the pain returned. The dentist took a teeth out and his smile was horrible. Everyone laughed at him in class and Pandora was distant.
Adrian wrote a letter to a woman called Clara (she worked in a magazine) for advice. He talked about his problems, his relationship with Pandora and his obsession with sex.
