El señor y la señora Mole iban a tener un periodo de prueba; iban a intentar convivir durante un mes siguiendo unas reglas. Si la cosa no funcionaba, se divorciarían. Las nuevas normas eran:
- George Mole tenía que hacer las tareas domésticas
- Pauline Mole debía ser más ordenada
- Los sábados comerían fuera
- Los niños tenían que ser atendidos por igual por los dos padres
- Hablarían sobre la economía familiar los viernes por la tarde
- Tendrían cuentas bancarias separadas.
- No podían tener aventuras con otras personas ni hablar sobre Insecto Palo y Horrible Lucas.
Nigel formó un club gay en el instituto, pero el director quería cerrarlo porque decía que era inmoral. Nigel jugó con el antiguo significado de gay (felicidad, diversión) y dijo que era un club para que la gente se divirtiera.
Lucas llamó por teléfono diciendo que Rosie era su hija.

- They would talk about the familiar economy on Fridays
- They would have separate bank accounts
- The wouldn’t have affairs with others and they wouldn’t talk about Stick Insect and Horrible Lucas
Nigel formed a Gay Club at school but the headmaster wanted to close it because he said it was immoral. Nigel knew the old meaning about the word gay (happiness, fun) and he said that the club was for people who wanted to enjoy and have a good moment.
Lucas phoned to say that Rosie was his daughter.
